Little "L" Farm urges you to take the pup/dog to your own veterinarian for a check up. I extend the time period for you to return the pup, IF a licensed veterinarian finds anything life-threatening wrong with the pup/dog within 48 hours (two business days) provided a letter from the examining licensed veterinarian is offered as evidence of the pup's illness, and the pup/dog is returned within the guranteed period. If you take the dog to your veterinarian and there is a problem, I would urge you to bring the puppy back to us so that we may have our own vet evaluate the puppy. A second opinion, so to speak.
We offer all puppies a two year health guarantee (from the date of birth) against life threatening congenital defects. If within that time a life-threatening congenital defect is found, Breeder will replace the puppy with another of the same breed, quality and sex. The replacement will be subject to availability (within approximately 12 months). The puppy will be replaced, no moneys will be refunded. A statement from a licensed veterinarian confirming such an event and cause is required before any action will be taken by the Breeder. Buyer is responsible for the return of the puppy. If you do not wish to return your puppy due to emotional attachment, you can opt for an additional puppy to add to your family. This guaranteee does not cover common conditions such as, but not limited to, improper bite, thin coat, hernias of any kind, trachea problems, low blood sugar (hypogycemia), internal and external parasites, luxating patella, minor physical flaws, loose stools, coccidia, or any condition that can be corrected by Veterinarian treatment.
In the unlikely event of this puppy's death in the first 12 months, due to a congenital defect, a statement from a licensed veterinarian confirming such an event and cause is required before any action will be taken by the breeder. If cause is unknown, an autopsy is required. Under no circumstances is this puppy to be euthanized without Breeders knowledge and consent. The breeder assumes no responsibility on this pup/dog after leaving this house: medical expenses, mortality, landlords disapproval, allergy to animals, disagreement of family, or for any other reason.
IMPORTANT: If your circumstances should change and can no longer care for/keep the dog/puppy, you have the right to find it a new home. If however, you are unable to fine a suitable family, please contact me and I will assist you in rehoming. You can not surrender the puppy/dog to a shelter, humane society, or rescue organization. If it comes down to that you MUST contact me for help. I never want one of our puppies to end up homeless, or worse.
If you intend to have your puppy spayed or neutered, you need to wait until the puppiy is AT LEAST 6 months of age. It is not good for the puppy physically or emionally to have this surgery done at too early an age.
Supplements: We suggest that your puppy be on a supplement recommended by us, which is only available through breeders like Little "L" Farm. Your puppy is required to be on this supplement for your health guarantee to be honored by us. This supplement is important for the immune system, bone and cartilage development. The link for more information and to order is on our dog food page. PLEASE NOTE: This health guarantee will be considered null and void if you do not keep your pet on NuVet Supplements. NuVet sends us a monthly report on which puppies/dogs purchased from Little "L" Farm are being supplemented with NuVet Plus, so it is important to use that code. 1-800-474-7044 code 50340
